At Delta Egypt, we consider our employees as one of the company’s key stakeholders. Our Human Resources Department reports to the board regularly on a number of employee KPIs including employment, labor/management relations, health and safety; and training and education.

Training and Development
We believe that the way to build a successful and co-operative business is to train and develop our employees. We are keen to provide our employees with regular training courses according to their job description and gaps that need to be fulfilled. We train our employees in three main areas: Second Language Courses, Tourism in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Sales and Marketing courses. Since our operations include a touristic investment, we have partnered with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism to train 75% of our employees to receive an advanced certificate in Tourism.

At Delta Egypt, we encourage our staff to undertake courses of training and education and to achieve professional or higher qualifications that are relevant to their role. In 2007 and 2008, the average hours per employee were 40 hours annually.
